Job summary

Safran is seeking an experienced Quality Systems Manager to lead and continuously improve the Quality Management System, ensuring compliance with aerospace, regulatory, and customer requirements.

You will oversee certifications, audits, and interface with regulatory authorities, driving change and operational excellence across the organisation. Travel to Safran and third-party sites will be required.

Qualifications

• Experience in aerospace quality, compliance, airworthiness, or engineering.
• Lead Auditor qualification and audit management experience.
• Proven ability to manage Quality Management Systems and regulatory approvals.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Ability to drive change and continuous improvement across a complex organization.
• Willingness to travel to Safran and third-party locations as required.

Responsibilities

• Manage and continuously improve the Quality Management System (QMS).
• Maintain regulatory approvals and certifications across design, manufacturing, repair, and support activities.
• Lead internal and external audit programmes and ensure effective closure of findings.
• Act as the primary point of contact for customers, certification bodies, and regulatory authorities.
• Manage EASA Form 1 approvals, training, and associated systems.
• Oversee audits of third-party repair organisations and suppliers.
• Develop and deploy quality auditors across the business.
• Ensure quality procedures, manuals, and documentation remain compliant and effective.
• Provide QA MRB approvals for concessions and permits.
• Drive business-wide quality improvement initiatives and compliance activities.
• Train, assess, and approve personnel operating within regulated quality processes.
