Job summary

Magellan Aerospace Limited in Llay, Wrexham is seeking a Quality Manager to lead the Quality Function and drive the QMS across the site, interfacing with customers and suppliers to promote quality improvements.

The role requires a relevant engineering/quality degree and aerospace manufacturing experience, with AS9100/NADCAP knowledge and a proven track record of leading quality teams and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Academic: relevant 3rd level qualification in Engineering/Quality.
• Experience in manufacturing environments, aerospace knowledge preferred.
• Regulatory exposure to AS9100/NADCAP or Part 145.

Responsibilities

• Set and drive the quality policy and objectives with regular reporting.
• Lead the quality team and ensure adherence to policies and procedures.
• Coordinate quality reviews on site and maintain effective quality controls from PO to dispatch.
• Ensure QMS conformance with standards and customer requirements; interface with customers and suppliers.
• Lead quality performance reviews and drive defect prevention / continuous improvement.
