HR GO Group is seeking an experienced Quality Manager for a permanent role in Watford, with a strong precision engineering background and shopfloor visibility. You will own the QMS aligned to AS9100, drive a right-first-time culture, and manage audits, NCRs and continuous improvement initiatives.

You will lead a small quality team and collaborate with Engineering and Operations to sustain high-quality output across CNC machining, assemblies and test operations.

Formación

• Significant Quality Management experience in precision engineering or machining (aerospace/defence preferred).
• Strong knowledge of FAIR/FAI requirements and inspection reporting.
• Experience with AS9100-aligned systems and traceability.

Responsabilidades

• Own and continuously improve the QMS aligned to aerospace expectations (AS9100).
• Lead internal and external audits and ensure timely closure of actions.
• Act as escalation point for quality issues: non-conformances, concessions, containment, root cause analysis and verification of effectiveness.
• Oversee inspection planning and product verification, including FAIR/FAI packs and production reporting.
• Govern metrology capability and best practice using CMM and inspection equipment.
• Implement and monitor quality KPIs and drive continuous improvement with Engineering and Operations.
• Manage document control and quality record retention per customer and regulatory requirements.
• Lead supplier quality management and flow-down of requirements (certification, counterfeit avoidance, sub-tier control).
• Lead and develop the Quality team to maintain high shopfloor engagement.
