Job summary

Vivo Talent is seeking a Quality Support Technician to join the Quality team. The role focuses on first-off, patrol, and final inspections of engineered components, ensuring compliance with customer specifications, technical drawings, and AS9100 requirements.

You will perform FAIRs, support ITPs, operate CMM equipment, and review production documentation for dimensional accuracy, contributing to corrective actions and continuous improvement within a growing engineering business.

Qualifications

• Experience in production inspection within a machine shop environment.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, including GD&T.
• Competent using handheld measuring equipment and CMM machines.
• Understanding of non-conformance processes and quality documentation.

Responsibilities

• Perform first-off, patrol, and final inspections of machined components.
• Conduct First Article Inspections (FAIRs) and support Inspection Test Plans.
• Operate and programme CMM equipment.
• Review production documentation and verify compliance with drawing requirements.
• Raise and investigate non-conformances, supporting corrective actions.
• Support production teams in resolving quality issues.
• Provide calibration support and contribute to continuous improvement activities.
