Job summary

Héroux-Devtek in Nottingham is seeking a Quality Inspector to work with manufacturing teams inspecting components in process and at final inspection, ensuring conformance to drawings and AS9102. You will read engineering drawings, operate hand tools and CMMs, and support continuous improvement while maintaining high quality standards across aerospace components.

Responsibilities include creating and reviewing FAIRs, ensuring regulatory compliance, and communicating inspection results.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Knowledge of AS9102 standards and requirements.
• Proficient in inspection metrology and CMM scanning.
• Experience with hand measuring equipment and gauges.
• Strong attention to detail and quality Conformance.

Responsibilities

• Create, manage and review FAIRs per AS9102.
• Ensure adherence to regulatory standards.
• Maintain procedures and operating documentation.
• Verify product conformance through visual and dimensional inspections.
• Interpret CMM reports and measurements.
• Support production with inspection data and priorities.
• Collaborate with other teams to resolve quality issues.
• Participate in root cause investigations and containment actions.
