Job summary

Proactive Global is seeking an experienced Quality Inspector for a well known manufacturing company in Waterbeach. You will ensure products are inspected to the correct requirements and support other departments to guarantee conformance with design data and specifications.

Key duties include approving product to drawings and customer documentation, recording non-conforming product, and working solo or in team settings to optimise inspection resources.

Qualifications

• Ability to use rulers, calipers, gauges or micrometers to inspect and measure.
• Strong reading of technical engineering drawings.
• Knowledge of FAI processes.

Responsibilities

• To approve product to drawings and customers supporting documentation.
• To provide assistance and support regarding product conformance.
• Operate alone or in a team to optimize inspection resource usage.
• To record non-conforming product to assist QA engineers.
• Conduct internal audits within departments.
• Understand FAIR process to AS9102.
