Job summary

The Eaton team in the United Kingdom is seeking a Quality Engineer to join a collaborative engineering group. You will develop and maintain quality management initiatives, lead reviews, and drive process improvements across products and processes.

Responsibilities include conducting PFMEA, 8D analyses, KPI reporting, and supporting design reviews and new product introduction. Training and certification programs are available as part of our commitment to quality.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years of experience as a quality engineer.
• Engineering degree or equivalent experience.
• Experience in aerospace quality systems (EASA/AS9100) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain quality management initiatives to support business objectives.
• Implement SPC, Gauge R&R, FMEA and control plans.
• Lead monthly/weekly quality reviews.
• Compile and present KPIs for management review.
• Investigate quality issues with internal/external bodies.
• Initiate or participate in product recalls as required by regulatory/customer needs.
• Participate in design reviews and new product introduction.
• Maintain company documentation and certify staff training.
• Participate in company quality initiatives.
• Conduct internal business system and product audits per audit schedule.
• Maintain and progress approvals: BS EN ISO 9001, EASA Part 21, AS EN 9001.
• Support the Self-Certification program through training.
