Job summary

Héroux-Devtek, a global leader in aerospace landing gear, seeks a dynamic Quality Director to lead QA across design, manufacturing and MRO. You will own the QA system, ensuring compliance with EASA/FAA Part 21G/J and Part 145, while driving continuous improvement and regulatory excellence at our Runcorn site.

This role demands strategic leadership, robust QA program development, and the ability to liaise with authorities, customers, and certification bodies to maintain AS9100/ISO 9001 standards

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, aerospace or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
• Minimum 5+ years of progressive aerospace QA roles in manufacturing and MRO.
• Extensive knowledge of EASA/FAA Part 21G/J and Part 145 regulations.
• Experience leading audits and cross-functional teams in aerospace.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Quality Assurance system across design, manufacturing and MRO.
• Ensure compliance with EASA/FAA Part 21G/J and 145 regulations.
• Develop and improve the QMS for new production and MRO activities.
• Lead audits by authorities, customers and certification bodies.
• Coordinate with Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain and MRO teams.
• Mentor QA team and foster a culture of quality excellence.
