Job summary

ALTEN is seeking a motivated Project Manager to support the successful delivery of manufacturing, engineering, and operational improvement projects. This is a varied role combining project coordination, stakeholder management, process improvement, and operational support. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to drive project activities and ensure effective delivery of engineering and manufacturing initiatives.

Location: Broughton. On-site: Fully onsite. Clearance: Clearable.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, or equivalent military experience.
• Experience in project coordination, PMO, engineering, manufacturing, operations.
• Strong organisational, planning, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and deliver engineering and manufacturing projects.
• Organise meetings, document outcomes, track actions to completion.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to hit milestones.
• Maintain project reports and KPIs.
• Coordinate activities related to equipment, tooling and processes.
• Support adoption of new technologies and process improvements.
• Assist with project reviews and risk management.
• Drive continuous improvement to raise efficiency and quality.
• Ensure cross-functional communication between engineering and operations.
• Provide day-to-day support to project managers and leads.
