Job summary

Hunter Savage is recruiting a Programme Manager – Aerospace for a leading aerospace manufacturer. The role leads cross-functional delivery teams from award to completion, acting as the main contact for global airline clients.

You will manage IPTs, milestone delivery, schedules, cost tracking, and risk management, with international travel to OEMs and partners. The position offers a competitive salary, extensive benefits, and flexible working arrangements.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in project or programme management.
• Excellent stakeholder and customer engagement skills.
• Ability to multitask, prioritise and resolve issues in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
• Strong organisational and communication skills.
• Experience using Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Act as the main point of contact for customers and key stakeholders, maintaining strong, productive relationships.
• Lead an Integrated Project Team (IPT) from award through delivery, facilitating timely, effective decisions.
• Manage both internal and external meetings, ensuring progress, risk mitigation and successful milestone delivery.
• Take ownership of programme schedules, cost tracking (NRC and RC), and escalation processes where necessary.
• Coordinate international travel and host milestone meetings with OEMs and airline partners.
• Apply best practice Programme Management tools including Change Management, Risk/Opportunity Management, Scheduling, Profit & Loss tracking and Lessons Learnt reviews.
