Job summary

Pursuit Aerospace in Burnley, United Kingdom, is seeking an experienced Team Leader to supervise production cells, drive quality, and promote a unified, collaborative culture. You will support the Business Unit Manager, guide and motivate staff daily, and ensure delivery against production targets while upholding safety standards.

You will lead operational activities, oversee daily metrics, and champion 6S and TPM practices to optimise efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Promote a safe, positive, proactive culture focused on personnel safety and product quality.
• Lead day-to-day production operations and ensure targets, efficiency and hours are met.
• Assist with root-cause analysis on non-conforming product and drive corrective actions.
• Support training and development of team members and ensure mandatory trainings are completed.
• Lead team meetings and communicate daily metrics for planning and review.
• Drive 6S culture and TPM/asset care within the area, including audits and improvements.
• Manage team briefs, daily communications and escalate issues to management as needed.
• Act as first point of contact for team members and managers for section concerns and complaints.
