Job summary

Ambitions Personnel in the United Kingdom is seeking a Production & Quality Team Leader to oversee day-to-day production and quality activities within a 3-shift rotation.

You will lead a small team on the factory floor, ensure safety and targets, input data, and drive improvements across processes and people.

This hands-on leadership role requires strong communication, practical problem solving, and a commitment to continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising production/quality teams.
• Strong understanding of production processes and safety standards.
• Excellent leadership and people-management skills.
• Proactive problem-solving and decision-making under pressure.
• Good organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a wider operations team.
• Proficient IT skills, including MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Supervise production activities and staff across the floor.
• Meet daily production targets and quality standards.
• Input and maintain daily production figures and records.
• Monitor product quality and identify improvements.
• Lead two quality patrols per shift and maintain standards.
• Maintain a safe, clean and organised working environment.
• Coach and develop team members for performance and progression.
• Identify and report issues to management.
• Coordinate with setters, maintenance, quality and logistics teams.
• Support stock control and stock takes monthly and annually.
• Foster teamwork, accountability and continuous improvement.
• Ensure health & safety procedures are followed.
