Job summary

Magnus Search Ltd. is seeking a Procurement Team Leader to drive a transformation of the site procurement function in an aerospace environment. The role is hands‑on and leadership‑driven, focusing on moving from reactive order management to proactive, commercially focused procurement.

You will develop the team, strengthen supplier performance and implement strategic procurement that improves safety, quality, delivery and cost across the business.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership experience in procurement or supply chain in a manufacturing setting.
• Track record of improving supplier performance and delivering cost reduction.
• Strong commercial and negotiation skills with stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the procurement team, setting roles, priorities and standards.
• Drive supplier performance through scorecards, reviews and risk management.
• Shape sourcing strategy, localisation and demand planning alignment with SIOP.
• Lead negotiations and reviews to achieve year‑on‑year cost reduction.
• Own KPIs, dashboards, and data‑driven recovery plans for shortages and lead times.
• Simplify processes, optimise ERP use, and implement standardised reporting.
