Job summary

Eaton's Aerospace is relocating to a new Daedalus facility and seeks an experienced estimator to support cost estimates and pricing strategies across FMC UK sites in Titchfield, South Molton and Bedhampton.

The role requires 3–5 years in estimating within manufacturing/aerospace, strong Excel skills, and good communication. Hybrid working is offered with on-site presence at multiple locations in the first months.

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent work experience preferred.
• 3–5 years experience in estimating in manufacturing/aerospace.
• Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel.
• Good understanding of aerospace products and manufacturing processes.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Analytical skills and business acumen.
• Excellent communication, persuasion and collaboration abilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide accurate estimates and pricing support for OE, engineering programmes, repair/overhaul and spares provisioning.
• Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to obtain information and costs.
• Prepare and submit data to support pricing negotiations with customers and auditors.
• Support cost down activities and make/buy decisions.
• Prepare monthly divisional reports and annual price list updates.
• Communicate outputs clearly to stakeholders.
