Job summary
Safran Engineering Services UK Limited in Gloucester seeks a Performance & Dynamics Engineer to develop computational models and run simulations on major programmes within the Systems Engineering team. The role is for 6 months with potential extension, starting 31/08/2026, and it is based in Gloucester with a hybrid arrangement after initial training (minimum 3 days per week on site).
You will deliver performance and dynamics analyses for mechanical, hydraulic and basic electrical systems
Qualifications
- Experience with multi-body dynamics modelling and simulation.
- Ability to perform static and dynamic loads calculations and analyses.
- Familiarity with MATLAB/Simulink and MSC toolchain for model development.
Responsibilities
- Build computational models and run simulations.
- Calculate static and dynamic loads.
- Conduct performance, frequency response and stability analyses.
- Define test requirements and analyse results.
- Write and validate performance and dynamics requirements.
- Optimise design solutions with other engineering disciplines.
