Job summary

Eaton is offering an Operations / Continuous Improvement Internship in the United Kingdom. Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Manufacturing Management or a closely related field.

Responsibilities

• Support production activities and collaborate with Supervisors, Engineers, and Planners to drive operational excellence.
• Identify risks early and assist in meeting budget and profit plans.
• Analyse manufacturing problems and provide practical shop-floor solutions.
• Interpret drawings and test schedules to create manufacturing instructions.
• Provide technical advice on projects and engage with stakeholders across functions.
• Review delivery performance and flag stock holding or kitting needs.
• Coordinate with Material Planners to ensure accurate completion dates.
• Support WIP management, escalation, and issue resolution with cross-functional teams.
• Assist with issues like NCRs, design issues, Stop Notes and FAIRs.
