Job summary

Safran UK Actuation is seeking a senior Programme Manager to lead complex aerospace NPI programmes, guiding products from development through industrialisation into production while meeting cost, schedule, quality and performance goals.

You will develop integrated plans, resource profiles and cross-functional teams spanning Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, Supply Chain and Finance, with regular governance reporting to senior leadership and customers.

Qualifications

• Degree (or equivalent) in Engineering, PM or related discipline.
• Proven experience delivering NPI or industrialisation programmes in aerospace/regulated industries.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary teams through product development and production readiness.
• Strong understanding of project planning and execution in manufacturing/engineering.
• Experience with risk, opportunity and change control.
• Experience supporting Bid & Proposal activities for new customer opportunities.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning and delivery of complex aerospace NPI programmes from development to production.
• Develop integrated programme plans, WBS and resource plans across multiple workstreams.
• Coordinate cross-functional Integrated Project Teams spanning Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, Supply Chain, Finance.
• Own programme governance and report status, risks, and milestones to leadership and customers.
• Lead risk, opportunity and change management activities.
• Drive product industrialisation and manufacturing readiness.
• Manage budgets, forecasts and resource requirements.
• Support BD and Bid & Proposal activities with execution strategies and cost estimates.
• Act as the primary interface for customers and stakeholders.
• Lead transition of new products into production with robust launch planning.
