Job summary

NDT Resources Ltd in the United Kingdom is seeking an NDT Level 2 certified technician for Penetrant Testing (PT) to inspect aerospace components to EN 4179 standards. The role offers 37 hours per week with an early finish on Friday, and a salary starting at £35k rising to £38k for certified candidates.

Qualifications

• NDT Level 2 certification in Penetrant Testing (PT). Aerospace certification is desirable but other certifications are accepted.
• Experience applying aerospace acceptance standards and practices is desirable.
• Experience in an engineering environment and knowledge of safety regulations.
• Excellent communication skills for documenting and reporting findings.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Process and inspect aerospace components using dye penetrant immersion to ensure conformance to drawings and processes.
• Assist manufacturing leads in meeting or improving planned process times.
• Perform additional duties/projects as directed by management.
• Produce data cards for new components/drawing changes.
