Job summary

Infosys is seeking an Engineering Lead in Derby, UK, to drive delivery and expansion of aerospace engine Shop Visit Cost Reduction projects. You will work with engineering, repair, operations, supply chain and overhaul base teams to ensure cost improvements and operational benefits.

The role requires deep cost-benefit analysis, data-driven decision making, and strong stakeholder management, with experience in aerospace MRO and dashboard/reporting using Excel or Power BI.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in aerospace maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO).
• Strong knowledge of aero engines, inspection procedures, and repair standards.
• Understanding of overhaul-base operations, engine-strip processes, repair workflows, and component rejection drivers.
• Experience in cost-benefit analysis, service-cost reduction, invoice analysis, and benefits realization.

Responsibilities

• Support delivery and expansion of aerospace engine Shop Visit Cost Reduction projects by driving implementation tracking, cost-benefit verification, and service cost analytics.
• Collaborate with engineering, repair, operations, supply chain and overhaul base teams to deliver measurable shop visit cost improvements and operational benefits.
• Prepare analytical reports and data packs for Service Cost Gate reviews.
• Demonstrate strong stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration.
