TISICS in Farnborough, UK, is seeking a Mechanical Test Technician to join project teams developing and testing aerospace components. You will assemble, test, and validate metal matrix composite parts, manage test data, and liaise with external test houses as needed.

Applicants should have an HNC/HND in mechanical engineering or equivalent, plus hands-on experience with mechanical testing, measurement principles, and drawing interpretation.

Qualifikationen

• HNC/HND in mechanical engineering or equivalent experience.
• Experience of mechanical testing and quality assurance.
• Experience in Aerospace/Space environment would be advantageous.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and diagnose faults.

Aufgaben

• Assist with the assembly of products for test.
• Generation and maintenance of assembly test instructions and procedures.
• Testing of products and components and diagnosis of test failures.
• For bespoke / custom test set-ups, work within the project team to establish the test set-up and run the tests.
• Identification of corrective action
• Evaluation of test equipment issues and fixing where possible.
