Job summary

The University of Wolverhampton invites applications from an enthusiastic academic to support the delivery of Aerospace and Mechanical Engineering programmes, with an initial focus on China. You will spend periods of the academic year delivering overseas teaching at the Joint Education Institute (JEI) in Kunming, China, with blocks of up to three months per year and sessions not normally exceeding 30 days.

A PhD in Engineering is required, with strong teaching, research and curriculum

Qualifications

• PhD in Engineering required.
• Strong ability to contribute to high-quality teaching, research, curriculum development and wider academic activities.
• Experience in aerospace/mechanical engineering education is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Deliver undergraduate and postgraduate programmes in Aerospace and Mechanical Engineering in the UK and China.
• Contribute to supervision and ongoing development of programmes.
• Engage in high-quality research and collaborative partnerships to support the department’s goals.
