Job summary

Leonardo Helicopters UK is offering an Aerospace Engineering Degree Apprenticeship (Level 6) in Yeovil. The 5-year programme includes placements across Engineering, Yeovil College modules, and Level 4/5/6 BEng degree units with EPA requirements.

You will gain hands-on experience in structural, rotor, transmission, and systems design, with security vetting and wide departmental exposure. The scheme emphasizes cross-functional teamwork and continuous upskilling.

Qualifications

• Age 18+; 96 (240 pre 2017) UCAS points or above at A-Level or equiv., to include Mathematics plus at least one STEM based subject.
• GCSE grade B/5 in Maths, plus 5 GCSEs at grade A-C inc. Eng Lang & Double Science or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Work placements across various engineering departments during the 5-year scheme.
• EPA portfolio compilation and end point assessment as defined in the Apprenticeship Standard.
