Job summary

Expleo is seeking a skilled Materials & Processes (M&P) Engineer to join our client’s proactive team in Prestwick, Scotland. The role provides M&P support, solutions and information to meet project requirements, coordinating with multiple departments to drive quality and delivery.

The candidate should have a degree in a relevant subject or an aerostructures apprenticeship, with strong knowledge of M&P theories, airframe engineering, and project management.

Qualifications

• Degree in a relevant subject or a technical apprenticeship in aerostructures.
• Strong understanding of Materials & Processes theories and applications.
• Good knowledge of airframe engineering, manufacturing, and project management.
• Proficient with common IT applications and software packages.

Responsibilities

• Perform M&P assessment tasks per prescribed methods and using tools.
• Coordinate with other departments to meet customer requirements.
• Identify and implement process improvements within M&P discipline.
• Lead simple activities and deliver outputs on time and to quality.
• Produce and check FPQ requests, plans, reports, and memos.
