Job summary

Energy Jobline CVL is seeking a Material Planner to join the Production Operations team in Ampthill. You will ensure material availability to support complex defence manufacturing programmes and work closely with Master Scheduler, Manufacturing, Stores and Procurement.

The role focuses on managing material availability, monitoring supply chain performance and keeping production plans on schedule in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in a manufacturing environment, ideally Aerospace/Defence or regulated industry.
• Material planning, production planning or inventory control experience.
• Strong working knowledge of SAP including material management.

Responsibilities

• Report material status to the Master Scheduler and flag shortages or delays.
• Coordinate with Manufacturing and Stores to meet production schedules.
