Qualifications

• Experience in busy manufacturing environment.
• Experience in assembly processes is advantageous.
• Aerospace experience would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• To manually insert and fit parts to produce fasteners to strict tolerances.
• To operate various machines in the Production department as required.
• In process fitting of inserts and collars, test and carry out self-inspection of parts.
• To use gauges and measuring equipment to ensure product meets required specifications.
• Keep all computer files and manual paperwork accurate and up to date.
• Ensure housekeeping is maintained to the highest standards.
• Ensure all quality procedures are adhered to, taking an active part in root cause analysis.
• Undertake training on various machines to achieve 100% flexibility and be able to train others.
• Work as a fully flexible team member to maximise production and quality.
