Job summary

Collins Aerospace is seeking an experienced Manufacturing Engineer to support build and braze operations, ensuring on-time delivery and maintaining quality standards. You will collaborate across Design, Quality, Operations and Supply Chain to drive manufacturing improvements and cost reductions.

The role emphasizes continuous improvement, problem-solving (8D) and automation-focused process development within an aerospace production setting.

Qualifications

Qualified to HNC/HND minimum in a relevant Engineering discipline.
Experience in aerospace, automotive or industrial sectors with knowledge of Quality, Industrialisation and Operations processes.
Familiar with sheet metal parts, castings, complex parts machined from billet and complex assemblies.
Strong understanding of technical drawings and GD&T.

Responsibilities

Create and maintain standard operating procedures and manufacturing specifications.
Support investigations using problem resolution tools and RCCA techniques.
Lead continuous improvement activities to reduce waste and improve efficiency, SRR.
Coordinate corrective actions from investigations.
Design and update jigs, fixtures and tooling and create drawings for manufacture.
Raise orders for new equipment as required.
Ensure the Operations function is supported to facilitate on time delivery.
