Collins Aerospace in Wolverhampton is seeking a qualified TIG Welder to join our Power & Controls division on a onsite basis. You will read drawings, set up TIG equipment, and inspect welds to aerospace standards, while collaborating with the production team to hit deadlines.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a TIG Welder with aluminium products.
• Familiar with welding to high tolerances.
• Reading and interpreting engineering drawings to guide welds.

Responsibilities

• Perform TIG welding and brazing on aluminium products.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings to execute welds accurately.
• Set up and operate TIG welding equipment safely to ensure optimum performance.
• Conduct inspection on welds to ensure they meet aerospace standards.
• Work with production to meet project targets and deadlines.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
