Job summary

Eaton is seeking an experienced Manufacturing Engineer to join their team in Wimbourne, UK. This full-time position focuses on supporting production and aftermarket activities, ensuring compliance with aerospace regulations, and driving continuous improvement in manufacturing processes.

The successful candidate will have a minimum of 5 years’ experience, ideally within the aerospace sector, and will be involved in creating manufacturing instructions and optimizing assembly processes in a state-of-the-art facility.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a Manufacturing Engineer, ideally within the aerospace industry.
• Knowledge of EASA/CAA Part 21 or 145 is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Be responsible for all manufacturing engineering tasking within the facility.
• Ensure compliance with aerospace industry regulations.
• Interpret manufacturing data to create manufacturing instructions.
• Provide technical advice and assistance on assigned projects.
• Drive continuous improvement of manufacturing processes.

Skills

Experience of using MRP/ERP systems

Good working knowledge of manufacturing processes

Analytical approach to problem solving

Strong written and verbal communication

Education

HNC / HND in Engineering discipline
