Collins Aerospace in Plymouth is recruiting a Manufacturing Associate to join the team for a 12-month fixed-term contract. The role involves assembling PCB boards into mechanical housings, loading units onto local test rigs and conducting tests, while following standard operating instructions.

The ideal candidate will have good hand dexterity, strong attention to detail, and a willingness to learn. Weekend work may be required, and training exercises will assess soldering and trainability.

Qualifications

• Prev manufacturing assembly experience is desirable but not essential; must be keen to learn and comfortable using hands.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow instructions is essential.
• Flexibility to work occasionally at the weekend.
• Experience in roles requiring high quality, accuracy, speed and dexterity for repeatable results is welcomed.
• Team-oriented worker with a positive, adaptable approach.
• Candidates may be invited to complete a short soldering assembly exercise during interview to assess trainability.
