Job summary

Safran Electrical & Power is recruiting a Logistics Operator through Morson HR for a 6-month contract at the Pitstone site in Buckinghamshire. The role covers goods in, SAP transactions, picking, packing, stock control and cycle counts.

You will work 37 hours per week, with shifts 8:45am-4:45pm Mon-Thu and 8-11:45am Fri. Pay approx £15.07/hour PAYE plus £2.19 holiday pay (£17.26 total). Experience with SAP and warehouses is desirable.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a warehouse/aerospace or automotive environment preferred.
• Experience with warehouse systems, SAP desirable.
• Understanding of FIFO and warehouse principles.
• Awareness of aerospace standards for product preservation and segregation.
• Proven track record delivering improvements in daily work.
• Awareness of HS&E practices in warehouse settings.
• Ability to interpret technical and regulatory documentation accurately.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to interact with all levels across the organisation.
• Proficient in Excel and Word; comfortable with general computer use.
• Good attention to detail and accuracy to meet targets.
• Ability to operate office equipment (copy/label/count scales).
• Forklift license desirable or willingness to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Take and sign for deliveries at Goods In and ensure correct address and condition.
• Record goods receiving in SAP.
• Pick and issue materials from stores for internal and external customers; transact in SAP and allocate Safran batches.
• Execute Stock Transport Orders between plants and put away parts per instructions.
• Check stock queries and movements; escalate discrepancies.
• Manage material overflow and receive materials into MRO stores.
• Perform cycle counting according to guidelines and report discrepancies.
• Pack and prepare shipments for dispatch; complete system transactions.
• Maintain SAP records and support improvement activities (6S, ISID, EDI).
• Support delivery of other assigned logistics tasks.
