Job summary

Syntech Recruitment Ltd are recruiting a Logistics Operative to join a specialist aerospace manufacturing business near Chalgrove, Oxfordshire. The role covers preparing, packing and labelling products for internal and external transport, with stock checks and documentation for shipping explosive assemblies.

The position is permanent, 37 hours per week initially, with a 4 on 4 off shift pattern and a salary of £33,715 per annum after probation. BPSS screening applies.

Qualifications

• Experience in basic industrial logistics duties in manufacturing or warehouse environments.
• Basic grounding in Health & Safety policies and procedures.
• Focused and meticulous approach to work.
• Team player with ability to work independently.
• Ability to follow verbal or written instructions.

Responsibilities

• Pick mechanical components and hardware per pick lists using Kardex machines.
• Book in all delivered goods to site on SAP.
• Deliver materials to process rooms.
• Undertake regular stock checks on goods.
• Palletise and label documentation to enable shipping of explosive assemblies.
• Assist management of stores and explosive magazines in line with 5S principles.
• Follow Health & Safety policies and procedures.
• Work accurately both in a team and when lone working.
• Follow verbal and written requests.
