Job summary

Manpower UK Ltd is seeking an Import & Export Logistics Specialist for a 12-month assignment in Cheltenham. You will oversee the import of materials for production and the export of products to customers, ensuring regulatory processes are followed.

The role reports to the Logistics Compliance Leader and involves working with operations to implement compliant procedures, raise HMRC reports, and coordinate shipping documentation and transport arrangements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college or equivalent.
• Experience in import/export or logistics is advantageous.
• Able to meet deadlines and work to deadlines.
• Ability to undertake basic calculations (VAT and duty).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Oversee import/export country compliance processes.
• Collaborate with operations to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Implement processes compliant with local regulations and drive adherence.
• Raise monthly HMRC reports.
• Integrate compliance into working processes with portfolio specialists.
• Monitor operational metrics to ensure adherence to procedures.
• Prepare and provide status reports on import/export activity.
• Handle import/export tasks including clearance instructions and HMRC.
• Prepare shipping documentation and arrange transportation.
• Provide administrative support and customer service as needed.
• Attend daily team rhythms and report performance.
