Aeropeople Limited is partnering with a global designer and manufacturer of electronic instruments and electromechanical devices to hire a permanent Hydraulic/ Mechanical Fitter based at Ramsgate. The role requires on-site presence five days per week, with a 39-hour week including a 9 day fortnight option.

Qualifications

• Background in mechanical or hydraulic engineering.
• GCSE Maths and English (or equivalent) required.
• Ability to interpret compliance manuals.
• Ability to meet tight deadlines with quality.
• Strong communication and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Disassemble hydraulic/mechanical components down to sub-components.
• Assemble from technical data for hydraulic and mechanical assemblies for testing/inspection.
• Maintain and ensure implementation of standard operating procedures.
• Ensure safety standards are followed.
• Maintain quality per aviation/aerospace procedures (CAA, EASA, FAA).
• Comply with health, safety and environmental regulations.
• Perform other duties as required.
