Job summary

Gregory-Martin International is seeking a Heat Treatment Operator to perform heat treatment processing of aerospace components in a manufacturing environment. You will work with industrial furnaces in accordance with customer specifications and company procedures.

The role requires reading engineering drawings, process specs, and maintaining production records; strong communication and proactive problem-solving are essential to deliver results on time.

Qualifications

• Experience in a manufacturing or engineering environment.
• Experience operating industrial heat treatment furnaces and associated equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, planning documents, process specifications and work instructions.
• Knowledge of aerospace heat treatment standards and processing requirements.
• Ability to accurately record and maintain process documentation and production records.
• A good communicator, able to build positive relationships with both colleagues and customers.
• A professional and proactive individual who takes personal responsibility for resolving problems and delivering results on time.

Responsibilities

• Carry out heat treatment processing of metallic aerospace components in accordance with customer specifications, engineering requirements and company procedures.
• Maintain accurate production records and process documentation.
• Interpret engineering drawings and process specifications to ensure correct operations.
