Job summary

Gregory-Martin International in Byfleet is seeking an experienced Heat Treatment Operator to carry out heat treatment processing of metallic aerospace components in accordance with customer specifications, engineering requirements, and company procedures.

The role requires experience in manufacturing or engineering environments, furnace operation, and the ability to read engineering drawings and work instructions to ensure compliant production records.

Qualifications

• Work experience in a manufacturing or engineering environment.
• Experience operating industrial heat treatment furnaces and associated equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, planning documents, process specifications and work instructions.
• Knowledge of aerospace heat treatment standards and processing requirements.
• Ability to accurately record and maintain process documentation and production records.
• A good communicator, able to build positive relationships with both colleagues and customers.
• A professional and proactive individual who takes personal responsibility for resolving problems and delivering results on time.
