Short Brothers A Boeing Company in Northern Ireland is seeking a skilled fitter to join a rigorous aerospace manufacturing team. You will complete precision fitting, interpret drawings, and contribute to high-quality aerostructures and components.

The role offers training, a 36-hour week, overtime and shift allowances, and a clear career path within a renowned aerospace group. Prior mechanical trades experience and readiness to work across sites are valued.

Qualifications

• Completed a recognised mechanical engineering apprenticeship or equivalent NVQ/City & Guilds.
• Four years experience in a skilled role with a relevant qualification.

Responsibilities

• Check kit parts to drawing schedules and manufacture aerospace hardware to a high standard.
• Maintain a safe and healthy working environment and adhere to safety protocols.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings; work across shifts and overtime as required at Short Brothers, a Boeing Company sites in Northern Ireland.
