Job summary

First Article Inspector - Aerospace role based at Ansty Park, Coventry. You will validate the first production run against engineering specifications and quality standards in the aerospace sector.

Responsibilities include reviewing FAI reports, conducting inspections using precision tools, and ensuring AS9100/AS9102 compliance. Six-month contract with PAYE, £22.48 per hour. Strong focus on continuous improvement and regulatory adherence.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in aerospace quality inspection and FAI
• Knowledge of AS9100 and AS9102 requirements
• Familiar with Part 21 & Part 145 regulations
• Experience with 8D, 5 whys and root cause analysis
• Lean/Six Sigma experience advantageous

Responsibilities

• Conduct First Article Inspections (FAI) to verify conformance with drawings and specs
• Review and document FAI reports per AS9102 and QMS
• Measure components with precision instruments and perform functional tests as required
• Identify non-conformances and coordinate corrective actions with Eng, Procurement and Production
• Ensure compliance with aerospace standards and interact with customers
