Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years of quality inspection experience in aerospace, with First Article Inspection exposure.
• Proficient in reading engineering drawings and specs; familiarity with AS9100/AS9102 a plus.
• Experience using precision measuring tools and reporting findings clearly.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough inspections of first articles to verify conformance to drawings, specs and process requirements.
• Document findings and prepare detailed inspection reports for review.
• Review technical documentation including drawings, specs and manufacturing instructions for accuracy and completeness.
• Ensure certifications and quality documentation are in place prior to inspection.
• Utilise precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, CMM) to assess dimensions and tolerances.
• Perform functional testing as required to validate performance criteria.
• Identify non-conformances and support corrective actions with cross-functional teams.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Procurement and Production to resolve issues.
