Job summary

Yeovil College is seeking an enthusiastic Aeronautical Engineering Lecturer to drive high-quality teaching and assessment across theoretical and practical aircraft engineering topics. You will work with employers, apprentices and full-time learners to build technical capability, professional behaviours and workplace confidence while embracing innovative approaches to aerospace skills delivery.

The role requires knowledge of aeronautical engineering, a level 4 qualification, and a teaching

Qualifications

A level 4 qualification in Aeronautical, Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering.
Knowledge of aeronautical or aerospace engineering with at least 2 years' technical experience.
Teaching qualification or willingness to work towards.

Responsibilities

Lead and deliver high-quality teaching and assessment for Aeronautical Engineering.
Cover theoretical and practical principles for aircraft systems, structures, maintenance and industry standards.
Collaborate with employers, apprentices and full-time learners to develop capability and confidence.
Support innovative approaches to aerospace skills delivery.
