Job summary

The Aerospace Degree Apprenticeship at GE Aerospace Dowty Propellers in Gloucestershire combines study at the University of the West of England with hands-on engineering experience on aviation projects.

You will enrol in the BEng Hons Aerospace Engineering degree while working part-time onsite, gaining exposure to mechanical design, composites, and manufacturing processes under mentorship from GE and university staff.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 112 UCAS points via three A-Levels including Mathematics.
• 3 A-Levels at grade BBC or above (including Mathematics and another STEM-based subject).
• BTEC Extended Diploma in Engineering at grade DMM or above.

Responsibilities

• Enrolment in the BEng Hons Aerospace Engineering degree at the University of The West of England (Bristol) while gaining industrial experience on Dowty Propellers projects.
• Work placements within engineering teams to gain skills on front line projects and participate in enrichment activities and GE apprentice networking.
