Job summary

Parker Meggitt is seeking a Senior Contracts Administrator to support aerospace programs with complex contracts and compliance across the contract lifecycle. You will administer and manage contracts, analyze performance requirements, and coordinate with customers and internal teams to ensure delivery against schedule and budget in a fast-paced, highly regulated environment.

Focus on bid development, pricing negotiations, and ensuring regulatory adherence throughout the contract lifecycle.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in contracts.
• Thorough knowledge of contract administration principles, industry practices, regulations and policies.
• Knowledge of legal and regulator requirements related to contract administration and government procurement if applicable.
• Ability to read, analyse and interpret policies and contracts and recommend changes to procedures.
• Ability to negotiate effectively to obtain best prices and terms on products, materials and services.

Responsibilities

• Administers specialised and/or major contracts by analysing performance requirements and customer purchase order requirements including those issued against Basic Contract Agreements and/or Long-Term Agreements.
• Determines technically and commercially compliant proposal packages of diverse scope and complexity for major customers in response to customer and contract requirements.
• Initiates bid processes by identifying requirements and coordinating input from other functions.
• Develops responses to requests for proposal (RFP) of difficult scope.
• Negotiates complex contract requirements in accordance with legal and company regulations and policies.
• Investigates and resolves claims or complaints by collecting and analysing information.
• Acts as point of contact with customer on assigned contracts and participates in customer presentations.
