Job summary

Morson Edge is seeking a Configuration Management Engineer to join a reputable Aerospace client based in Yeovil, Somerset. The role sits at the Home of British Helicopters and involves owning configuration data from requirement id through to design and deployment.

You will drive CM deliverables, manage change processes, and provide product and equipment configuration support. This is a site-based 12 month contract, working 37 hours per week with SAP integration and cross-functional engagement.

Qualifications

• Experience in configuration management principles and processes.
• Ability to prioritise and deliver own workload.
• Strong communication and problem solving skills; high attention to detail and IT literacy.

Responsibilities

• Drive configuration deliverables (plans and docs).
• Manage and monitor change requests and collectors from initiation to implementation.
• Deliver configuration reports, KPIs and trackers on a defined frequency.
• Act as client point of contact at meetings with internal and external customers.
• Provide configuration technical support to control modification state of product and support equipment.
