Job summary

Leonardo offers an Aerospace Manufacturing Composites apprenticeship that combines on-the-job learning with college study at Yeovil College. Over three years you will rotate across the Dynamics Composites Centre, gaining experience in blade manufacture for Leonardo Helicopters and progressing into a final placement based on your developing skills.

The programme begins with Leonardo and Yeovil College inductions, followed by increasing work placements within DCC.

Qualifications

• 4 GCSE grades 4 - 9 or grades A*- C or equivalent - Mandatory: English, Maths and Science
• Note - Maths higher tier C recommended

Responsibilities

• Grow your knowledge of an engineering business
• Develop practical skills in engineering and understanding key processes and technologies
• Support early careers activities - our apprentices have the opportunity to work as STEM ambassadors in schools, colleges and universities
