Job summary

Morson Edge is seeking a skilled Composite Aircraft Fitter to work on main wing assemblies and sub-assemblies within a precision aerospace manufacturing environment on a 12/7 day shift.

You will assemble and trim composite and metallic components, using drills, reamers, countersinks, rivets and calibrated jigs, following drawings and data. Apprenticeship or NVQ/City & Guilds Level 2 required, with a minimum of three years' relevant trade experience.

Qualifications

• This role requires an apprenticeship or equivalent (NVQ2/City & Guilds 2).
• Minimum three years' trade experience assembling aircraft components from drawings.
• Experience with drilling, reaming, countersinking and riveting per processes.

Responsibilities

• Assembles and trims composite and metallic aircraft components to close tolerances.
• Works from aircraft drawings, engineering processes and approved data.
• Sets components in calibrated build jigs and completes quality checks.
