Job summary

Inplace Personnel Services Ltd is seeking an Inspector for a specialist manufacturing facility in Alfreton. You will read micrometers and verniers, inspect against engineering drawings, and work with hand tools for light fabrication and panel beating.

This temp-to-perm role requires a proactive team player with quality control experience, strong communication, and the ability to follow documented procedures, company SOPs and PPE guidelines. Overtime may be required to meet business needs.

Qualifications

• Previous quality experience (aerospace/liquid coatings preferred).
• Excellent communicator, collaborator and team player.
• Willing to overtime as needed to meet business needs.
• Ability to work on own initiative and within a team.
• Follow clear instructions and documented procedures.

Responsibilities

• Read micrometers and verniers for inspection.
• Read and work from engineering drawings.
• Use hand tools and air tools for light fabrication.
• Take responsibility for quality of own work before and after finishing.
• Follow company SOPs and PPE guidelines.
• Record paperwork and route card discipline.
