Prime Appointments Ltd is seeking a skilled CNC Turner for a permanent night shift in Basildon. The role requires turning expertise with milling capability and a pride in accurate workmanship for high-precision aerospace components.

The position offers a basic salary of £37,500 with a 30% night premium, benefitting from 25 days’ holiday, pension, and additional support services. You will work on multi-axis turning and may cover milling duties as required.

Qualifikationen

• Fully skilled, time-served CNC Turner holding relevant certificates.
• Practical background using CNC lathes.
• Milling experience on 3-axis or 5-axis machines.
• Strong ability to read engineering drawings and follow written instructions.
• Aerospace manufacturing exposure would be advantageous.
• Confident using precision gauges with measuring instruments.

Aufgaben

• Manufacture precision parts from engineering drawings against specifications.
• Set and run multi-axis turning equipment.
• Operate 3-axis or 5-axis milling machinery when required.
• Interpret technical drawings alongside written manufacturing instructions.
• Maintain tight tolerances while checking completed work.
• Use varied inspection gauges using measurement equipment.
• Complete final quality checks before release.
• Keep machinery, tooling, equipment, while surrounding areas clean and maintained.
• Follow ISO 50001, 14001, 45001 & 9001 requirements.
• Support improvements covering production, safety, health & energy efficiency.
• Take ownership of tasks while contributing positively within team activities.
