Job summary

Ernest Gordon Recruitment Limited is seeking a CNC Programming Engineer (Aerospace) to join its Prestwick-based team. You will create and amend CNC programs, support programming data, and manage tools to ensure smooth project delivery in a Monday to Friday days-based role.

You will work with Design and Manufacturing to drive progress across aerospace components in defence and commercial sectors. The role offers a starting salary of £44,348 with progression, training and extensive development

Qualifications

• Experience in CNC programming and manufacturing systems solutions.
• Proficient in 3D modelling techniques.
• Experience with CNC machining and core engineering domain.
• Able to create and amend CNC programs and programming data.

Responsibilities

• Providing manufacturing systems solutions through industrial engineering.
• Create and amend CNC programs.
• Support the creation of programming data through liaison with the Design and Manufacturing team.
• Responsible for the creation and maintenance of programming simulation models.
• Manipulation of 3D data to support manufacturing processes.
• Management of tools and cutters to support manufacturing operations.
