Job summary

REED CONSTRUCTION LIMITED is seeking an experienced CNC Miller to manufacture high-spec aerospace components in Sheffield. You will work with exotic materials in a precision-driven environment, operating various CNC machines and controls to tight tolerances.

You will read complex drawings, use micrometers and gauges, and contribute to TPM checks while maintaining safety and quality standards. Overtime may be required to meet production targets in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• Experience operating CNC milling machines with tight tolerances.
• Familiar with Heidenhain, Fanuc or Siemens controls.
• Experience with aerospace materials is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC milling machines to tight tolerances on fixture-based work.
• Read and interpret complex engineering drawings.
• Work with various CNC controls (Heidenhain, Fanuc, Siemens).
• Use manual measuring equipment (micrometers, gauges).
• Handle aerospace components with care and precision.
• Maintain a clean and organised work area.
• Support machine maintenance and TPM checks.
• Collaborate with team members to meet production targets.
