Job summary

Precision in Basildon, Essex, is seeking an experienced CNC Miller & Setter for a low-volume, bespoke aerospace machining environment. You will set, prove and operate CNC mills, read complex drawings and develop effective machining strategies across Mazak, Hurco and Haas equipment.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as CNC Miller/Setter.
• Able to read complex engineering drawings with minimal supervision.
• Strong focus on quality and in-process checks.

Responsibilities

• Set, prove and operate CNC milling machines.
• Develop machining strategies for one-off and low-volume aerospace components.
• Work from complex drawings, selecting appropriate tooling and fixturing.
• Collaborate with Engineering and Quality to resolve manufacturing challenges.
