Job summary

Stoneswood Precision Components Ltd invites applications for a Technical Apprentice in a high-precision aerospace manufacturing setting in Dukinfield. You will work with engineers, machinists and quality teams to gain hands-on experience and complete a structured apprenticeship.

You will develop skills in CNC machining, CAD/CAM, inspection, and continuous improvement, with a clear pathway into Manufacturing Engineering and related technical roles.

Qualifications

• GCSEs in Maths, English and STEM subjects are required.
• Demonstrated interest in engineering, manufacturing and technology.
• Willingness to learn, good problem solving, and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Support apprenticeship programme alongside experienced engineers and technicians.
• Develop skills across CNC machining, CAD/CAM, and manufacturing documentation.
• Assist with production support, quality assurance, and process improvements.
